Many times there will be situations that arise or questions that come up with the products that we sell, delivery issues or just a verification of something that is contained in our website. The following “Questions & Answers” will hopefully address any and all issues that might arise. Why do you call your company Best Balms?

Because we feel that we make the best balm product line on the market today and we are proud of it. We put in more of the best all natural ingredients in each and every balm we make. We do this because our products really work as a result of using the best ingredients.

Are your "Ultra Sports Balms" like Tiger Balm?

 

Well, we feel that our "Ultra Sports Balm" line is better than Tiger Balm. Our sports balms/muscle rubs are 100% all natural and the heat that you feel upon application is produced by specially formulated essential oils. Unlike other products on the market including Tiger Balm that use synthetic compounds, we at Best Balms Corporation use over twenty active all natural ingredients which gives the maximum amount of muscle ache and joint pain relief. The bottom line is they work stronger & last longer!

Are all your balm products 100& all natural?
 

Absolutely! There are no artificial or synthetic ingredients in any of our balm products. Each & every balm contains only 100% all natural carrier oils, plant butters and essential oils from around the world. Plus, they work!

Are your balms safe to use?
 

Yes, they are very safe to use if used as directed. There are some basic common sense rules for their usage such as, don’t eat the balms except for the lip balms and keep them away from children, pets and pregnant women & mucus membranes. Additional information is found in each of the balms individual web pages and the ingredient page. Another thing to consider is all of the essential oils in our balms are mixed in a pure beeswax/carrier oil/plant butter base to produce a very stable synergistic natural compound.

 
Why are some of your balms different colors? Most balms on the market are just honey colored?
 

The reason for this is that we use special formulas consisting of essential oils that are naturally in different colors such as German Chamomile which is dark blue & Capsicum which is a dark red. By carefully blending these essential oils we are able to modify the shades of color in each particular balm. Most of the other balms that you will find in the marketplace have a honey color due to the beeswax that is used and the small amount & type of essential oils that that particular company uses.

 
The color of the balm tin that I purchased looks different than on your web site.
 

The simple answer to this is that everyone uses different browsers, computer monitors and programs that affect the color that you see on your computer screen. Unfortunately, we can not responsible for any color variations that are due to these conditions.

 
How long should my balm that I purchased last?
 
All the balms should last a minimum of thirty six months under proper conditions. This means that the balms should be kept in a relatively dry and cool place. By cool we mean room temperature. If the balms are kept in a high temperature environment with high humidity then they will not last as long due to the process of oxidation. All our balms have natural anti-oxidants, anti-bacterials and anti-fungals added in the form of specialized essential oils to extend the shelf life naturally.
 
My balm melted and then solidified. Is it still good to use?
 
Absolutely! The process of melting will not change the balm or it’s properties since all the balms are formed by a melting & gentle mixing process to begin with. It is advisable though to keep the balm in a cool place so that the balm does not remain in a melted state for a long period of time. Some balms such as the “Buggz Off” insect repellents are specially formulated for the hot conditions that bugs thrive in and where you will be using the Jungle & Desert formulas.
 
The balm tin that I ordered came dented or damaged. What do I do?
 

Send it back for a replacement. Please look on the "Terms & Conditions" page for our corporate address and send it back via first class mail c/o Returns with a copy of your original invoice. Upon receipt of your returned tin we will send you out a replacement balm.

The balm that I ordered is all mashed up inside and some is on the top lid.

Sometimes in production the balm has not cooled enough before packed so it will move around a little before it fully cools and turns solid. this does not affect the quality of the balm. If it bothers you contact servicebestbalms@aol.com so you can notify customer service to arrange sending back the tin and we'll then send you a replacement. Another solution is to take a hair dryer and heat up the tin which will cause the balm to settle back into the bottom of the container

 
What if I find I am allergic to the balm that I bought?
 
Send it back for a full refund, no questions asked! A small percent of people will be sensitive to ingredients in the balms and may develop slight skin redness or irritation. If this happens discontinue use of the balm and send back the balm to our corporate offices c/o Returns with a copy of the original invoice. Our corporate address can be found on the “Terms & Condition” page.
 
I ordered a balm a while ago & I have not received it yet.
 

We are sorry that this has happened! Occasionally either the mail is a bit slow or our shipping department has dropped the ball. In any case please e mail us at servicebestbalms@aol.com to help us find out why it has not gotten to you yet. Include your name, address and customer number and one of our customer service representatives will be in touch with you in a timely manner.

 
Can any of the ingredients cause health problems
 
Most of the ingredients have been diluted to such an extent that there is little chance that any reaction will occur. In the Ultra R-X PLus & the Ultra Sports Balms there is capsicum which creates natural warmth and can possibly cause some slight irritation near the eyes and mucus membranes. Washing off your hands after application should be enough to prevent any irritation.
 
I really like your balm products and would like to buy a lot of them. How do I do this so I can save some money too?

If you click any of the tin images you will go to the Best Balms Store section so you make your selections. The shipping is absolutely free and we accept Visa, Master Card, E Checks & Pay Pal as payment for your order.
 
I am qualified for the rewards program.How do I obtain my gift?
 
Our Rewards Department has a lot of gifts ready to be given away that we have purchased directly from the manufacturer or distributor. It may be possible to send you a specific color if it is available. You would have to send an e mail to servicebestbalms@aol.com to indicate that you won a particular prize based upon the reward guidlines and specify a particular color. Include your name, address and customer number and we will see if we can accommodate your request. Please indicate your 2nd or 3rd choice also in the email.
 
I did not receive my discount even though I put in the special promotion code.

There you will see specialty balms, lip balms, insect repellents, skin care and sports balms. Just double click any category and that will take you directly to the page you are looking for. To purchase one of these great balms, just double click the item and you will be taken to the store. Nothing could be easier!
 
How do I know if a product is available?
 
Most items on our site are in stock and ready to ship. Some items are either temporarily out-of-stock , are not available for shipment until a specific date or require extra time for shipment as in the case of large wholesale orders. In case the item is on back order you will be notified by e mail as to the approximate date that it will be shipped out on.
 
When will my balm arrive after I have ordered it?
 
Usually the balm will be shipped out that same day if the order has been made before 3 PM (Eastern Standard Time). Then add a couple of days for the United States Postal Service to do their job. You will be notified when your order has been received and when the product item has been shipped out.
 
My order was canceled, Why?
 
Occasionally orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are; the item is not available, your payment information could not be verified or the shipping address could not be verified. If your order is cancelled, you will receive an important e mail notice regarding your order which will explain the reason for the cancellation. Obviously you will not be billed for any cancelled or unavailable products
 
I want to cancel my order.
 
After you have clicked "Send My Order," you may be able to cancel your entire order by sending an immediate e mail to servicebestbalms@aol.com .If your order can be cancelled, you will receive an e mail confirming the cancellation. Please note you have a limited amount of time in which to cancel your order, as our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way as quickly as possible. At this time, you will be unable to cancel or change part of your order if the system has already processed the order! Your credit card will not be charged if you cancel an order in a timely manner. You will receive an email confirming credit back to your particular form of payment once we are able to reissue credit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and if the order has already been shipped due to a delay on your part then you will need to send the product back to our corporate headquarters to get a credit card refund. If one or more products in your order become unavailable you may cancel only the unavailable products.
 
I want to return an item I bought because I am not happy with it.
 
We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy, we are not happy! If you are not satisfied with the item you purchased you may return it within thirty days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping & handling or any additional charges. Please refer to our Returns page for further information. Please note that the item must be in good condition, in the original tin and accompanied by a copy of the invoice to ensure full credit.
