* There are many grades of essential oils on the market today and some are of lesser quality, as there are also
lower grades of carrier oils & plant butters.

| 4.) Fiction: Balms Are The Magic Cure For All Ailments |

* You may read many deceptive advertisements that claim unbelievable results if you
use their product! This is false advertising and should be ignored and even punished.
Some even claim to cure cancer and other diseases. This is cruel, deceptive and is illegal
Best Balms makes no outrageous claims on what our products will do & we stand by all statements for every balm we produce. If you, the consumer are not satisfied with any of our products then we are not happy. Return the tin to our corporate headquarters according to our return policy to receive a full refund or choice of another product, no questions asked but an explanation is appreciated.

| 5.) Fiction: Balms Will Last Forever |
| |
* Best Balm products contain no water based compounds just oils and plant butters. This increases the shelf life of our balms considerably and in addition we add vitamin e, tea tree & rosemary to all our balms which also delays oxidation and extends the shelf life to somewhere between eighteen to forty eight months depending on certain conditions such as temperature, humidity & cleanliness of hands.
* In order to extend the shelf life of all the balms extreme high temperatures should be avoided, water should not be added to any of the balms & balms should be stored in a refrigerator to extend the freshness to the maximum time period. Also, clean fingers are helpful when spreading the balms on your hands or skin so that bacteria is kept at a minimum.

| 6.) Fact: If In Doubt Use Very Little |
| |
* This is referred to as a “patch test” whereby a very small area of skin is dabbed with a small amount of balm and covered with a band aid. If after twenty four hours there is no skin irritation or sensitization then it is safe to assume that you are not allergic to the compounds in the balms. Also, the Ultra R-X Plus and Ultra Sports Balms contain capsicum oil which is distilled red pepper oil. Do not touch your eyes or mucus membranes after applying these balms to your skin. Washing will help remove most of the oils but do exercise caution because red pepper is hot.

* A small percentage of people are allergic to many compounds in the environment and other chemicals found in nature. Since all of our ingredients are all natural then this would include many of the essential oils which are found in all our balms along with plant butters and carrier oils. If this is the case please send back the balm tin for a full refund with no questions asked. It’s not your fault!
* Some citrus based essential oils will cause photosensitivity which increases your risk of sunburn. Use caution if a product contains citrus oils especially if you are going to be out in the sun within twelve hours of application
* Best Balms uses only one citrus oil and that is lemon oil in our Hot Flash”Less”. With this balm the only body parts that are supposed to have it applied to are the carotid arteries, inside of the wrists & kness and bottom of the feet. Use at least a 30 SPF sunscreen over the areas of application prior to exposure to the sun.

| 7.) Fiction: All Balm Companies Use 100% Natural Ingredients In Their Products |

* There are some companies that actually think 95% should be considered 100% natural. Do the math and you’ll find that there is a 5% difference which can affect the basic integrity of any balm. In fact, some companies actually put on their label “may contain”. What does this mean? If it says “may contain” you can be sure that it does contain many of those products that are not 100% natural.
* If it does not say 100% natural then it’s not 100% natural. It’s as simple as that! Even though there may be some type of fancy seal that indicates "all natural". Read the label, check out the ingredients and make your decision based on knowledge

| 8.) Fact: No Animal Testing Is Ever Done With Our Products!! |

* We have not and will never test any of our products on animals. Due to the ingredients in all our balms such testing is not necessary. All of our balms have had extensive testing on human volunteers prior to final production.

9.) Fiction: Balms Protect Against The Harmful Rays Of The Sun

| * Except for shea butter and some other plant butters there are no natural oils, butters & carrier oils that will effectively protect the skin from the sun’s rays. The only natural sunscreen ingredients that are not absorbed into the skin are titanium dioxide & zinc oxide. All the other ingredients found in sunscreen products are not natural and can be potentially harmful. |
